Well, she wears glasses because manipulation of her craft cause her eyesight to deteriorate temporarily, meaning she often misses her targets until she acquires her glasses.

Do you notice that this opening video was inspired (or copied) from Madonna-Take A Bow MV (the Robin with the TV scene)?
Watch Robin with the TV scene and compare it with the Madonna one, just the same movement, shot, angle, style..

Love this intro! Shame that the series itself was a bit up & down ala Ergo Proxy, some moments of brilliance, other moments of annoying uninteresting stuff
