Smallville: Kill Lex Trailer

In this fake trailer, Clark Kent seeks out revenge against Lex Luthor who unleashed a devastating attack that left Clark a broken man.

This trailer is based off of the trailer for the film Kill Bill. Clips are used from the WB show Smallville which was created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.

I dont understand why you randomly put lana in the barn and have him fight lana

Lana is supposed to be one of the villains in this trailer. She assisted Lex in capturing and killing Clark's family. The trailer isn't supposed to be accurate to the events in the show. I wanted to twist the narrative and the characters around and do something different. Since the trailer was a bit of a homage to Kill Bill I wanted to use a sword fight and since the only sword fight in Smallville was between Lana and Clark it was logical to use it for this concept. It was just for fun.

theres just too much going on...audio/video edits were done pretty well. So as a standalone: awesome job - - being true to the story line or characters of smallville or superman: disappointing

I think that you were kind of missing the point. I wasn't trying to be true to the storyline or the characters of Smallville and Superman. If you look at my other trailers I've done this before. I take Smallville and twist it into something else. There are so many trailers for Smallville out there that some times I just like to do something different to the narrative to make it fresh. This is not supposed to be like the show or the comics though. That's kind of the point.

Well I guess it's up to the viewer for the most part. Neither trailer was made with his powers in mind. In this one the action is supposed to stylized like in the Kill Bill movies.
