rides closed last year were the blue streak roll o plane round up and toboggan the toboggan is being removed the round up was going were the yo yo use to be thats why it didn't run all season the roll o plane i'm guessing lost its moter in the fire and of course the blue streak needs work

You can still ride the Sea Dragon at Waldameer! Unfortunatly the Hell Hole was Scraped.

Those rides went at auctions or sales years back.They were good rides as they attracted people.I hear that the hell hole needed extensive work.The Sea Dragon sure did look good right near the lake and could be seen for a distance.Lighting the water tower also was a nice draw.

The latest that I heard the Blue Streak was to be inspected and may not need as much work as thought and could open by Labor Day!

Not all hope is lost as it did open for the 2009 season with most of the rides running except for the Blue Streak roller coaster which after sitting for a couple of years will need repairs to the wooden structure.

I have also been following the forum in the Meadville Tribune about CLP and hear that the rides will open except for the Blue Streak which will require extensive work to get it back in operation.Sounds very positive.I hope that it all comes true.

The park opened this season(2009) and the rides are contracted to a company to run.There are hopes of getting the Blue Streak running this year or next depending on work needed and cash at hand for repairs.
