I've done this test recently & have found the cheaper the top coat the better the results. I have on many occasions spent a long time on a design & let it "dry" & put a topcoat on & have it smeared. The best one I have found is Wet & Wild clear topcoat for 99cents has worked the best. I can't remember because it was an older one but I don't think it was a fast dry topcoat.

I recently started using Poshe - a toulene free comparable substitute for seche vite ( which I will never use because of its toxicity) left no streaks at all no matter what polish I used. However I always used Poshe base coat. I bought both of them at Sallys with card for about 13$. The top coat is super shiny, dries super fast and lasts over a week!

Hi! great video! My nail art ALWAYS smears with a top coat but if I don't use one, it will chip. I wasn't sure which Sally Hansen product you were talking about so I tried Mega Shine. It smeared a lot! So it obviously isn't the same one you used. Can you tell me which one it was so that I can stop the smearing? Thanks!
