  • @seaturtlelady yea, the tea bag party. That's an inspirational motive.

  • @w13rdguy F**** homeschooling. I WAS home-schooled for 4 years, and it was a low point in my childhood. (5th-8th) Talk about culture shock when I returned to the real world in freshman year.

There's a reason teachers are required to get at minimum a bachelor's degree, and as much as I love my mom, she was no substitute.

  • I will raise your taxes! Maybe we keep more of our own money, and Mom or Dad can spend more time at home teaching our kids, instead of double shifts, swing shifts, or opposing spouse shifts. (Dad works all night, Mom works all day). Maybe the government should stop trying to be a substitute dad for inner city youth.

  • If you want to move Georgia forward, then join a Tea Party in your local area to learn more about all of the candidates running for Governor!

  • @willia3r

I just hope that now with help of the information age of internet, 24 hours news networks, these ideological alignments that have been taking place for the last 30-40 years since the social movements have crystallized so that we know where each person stands on the issue regardless of political affiliation.

Hopefully Mr. Barnes learned his lesson & will now govern with a stronger vision in mind. Move Georgia forward, sir.

  • I miss the ol' fashion populist leadership of guys like Roy Barnes. It's damning how transportation be it roads or transit has ignored for long, and that criticism is not necessarily swipe at the leadership for the past 8 years because in reality, both parties for the last 30 have looked the other way.

  • Thanks For Runing Again I hope You Can Bring Georgia out of the Dark Ages

  • Roy is exactly right: education of our young people is a moral responsibility. I am very much looking forward to voting for Roy in the Democratic Primary on 20 July 2010!
