Michigan Abortion Super Bill

The GOP-controlled Michigan House of Representatives is ramming through an omnibus anti-abortion super bill comprised of HB 5711, HB 5712 and HB 5713. The Health Policy Committee held a 90-minute meeting that prevented many women from speaking. Onerous provisions range from requiring a new $1 million insurance policy to preventing doctors from using tele-medicine to provide drugs like RU-234. Critics contend the new law will drastically reduce access to reproductive health services in the state.

Rep. Paul Opsommer, this is not about your grandson is it? This is not about your personnel family life is is? Why are your opinions greater then those who you are supposed to be representing? You took what Joe Liebman had to say totally out of context, when he was referring to the 1st trimester and you are referring to a 4 year old child. So we should listen to your story old your grandson, yet you do not listen to the countless stories of people this bill effects, and then just walk away shame
