I have read the bible. Thats why Im an atheist. The idea that the blood sacrifice of another human can wash away my responsibility for 'sin' and make me clean [vicarious redemption through blood] is abhorrent, immoral, and barbaric; those 3 traits seem to be a common thread in the Abrahamic religions.

Aside from the Scienotlogist's fear of losing one's salvation by attacking the cult's spiritual leader, there's also the fear of having to battle with Miscavige's armed security personnel.
