Eric Kunze - Gethsemane (Denver 2005)

Eric Kunze stars as Jesus Christ in the three year running North American tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. He initialy would replace Sebastian Bach for a short period of time but went on to do the show till the end of the tour. This was recorded on 01.30.2005 in Denver, on the final night. Kunze gives an amazing (and for most fans his ultimate) performance of Gethsemane.

The crew of the show shot this video using a static camera in the back on the theatre. This is a clip of my remastered copy. Both video and audio have been carefully remastered.

Originally it was Carl Anderson that played Judas but he got very sick in early 2003 and Lawrence Clayton took over.

Eric is performing all of his best hits in "Best of Broadway" and i saw him performing this an i was baffled and speechless both his chest voice and the high notes were all perfectly hit and i melted in my seat

I saw him at the CLO too. He was amazing!!! Him, Josh Tower, and Kevin Bailey were breathtaking!!! So glad i saw it twice.
