i finally got some shea butter and i paid $5. as well but it was a quarter of the size of yours. i have big hopes for it but time will tell.

oh , that's too bad . do u have nay health food stores around ? cause they might sell it in containers from different companies . you always have to read the ingredients and make sure if u buy it from a vendor that they tell u exactly what's in it . cause one time i bought a shea butter with aloe vera and i found out later on their site that they had mineral oil . hmm , i wish i could see how big of an amount u got for 5 dollars cause it would have been a rip off if u got too little .

i got it from a health food store.  it was a barrel full of wrapped balls a quarter of the size of yours. i thought she said $5. a pound, but nope.

It can be and that is why I put it on my face overnight cause in the day it is greasy . I also put it on my hands and as a lip balm at any time . I find it one of the best natural and cheap moisturisers but only if it's completely pure in a chunk and i think mine is raw shea butter and it is yellow . there are different kinds just make sure it is natural .
