I agree. The monkey and lion didn't look angry to me either. I definately saw the monkey smiling and pointing like the monkey was pointing at the parrot like he was saying to the lion "hey look at that, he blended in with those beautiful flowers like he came out of nowhere" and maybe the lion roared like he was saying "hi" to the parrot and/or "wow" after he saw the parrots beautiful colors. (I also definately saw a small happy grin on the lions face before and after he roared).
When I was very young, the only thing that scared me on this skit was when the lion roared. The reason it scared me was because the lion roared a little too loud and it was hurting my ears.

I always saw the parrot right away. I was so proud because others in my family didn't. And I liked those brite 70's colours!
