Dead Mouse Eulogy

Warning: Don't watch if video of mouse trap will upset you. PLEASE read before hating me. I don't know how to get rid of mice humanely. And they've eaten hundreds of dollars of food, and left poop everywhere. So I set a trap, and found this morning a horrible site. So horrible I decided to impose it on you.

The OTHER mouse (Gavin) continued eating the peanut butter from the trap that killed his mate, David. Say what you like about me killing mice and videotaping it. Gavin's the real problem here. How does he LIVE with himself? What can we do about Gavin? How many "new mice" have to fall into his evil con before we do something about it?

Ok like I skimmed through the video because I really DID NOT want to see the mouse get killed, but yeah ideas for humane removal:

When I was younger we had them in our garage. My dad put a 5 gallon bucket at about a 45 degree angle filled with grass seeds. The mice would go inside to eat but unable to climb out. We'd them go drive a few minutes away and let them in fields.
