Suikoden II - Fastest Beast Rune Kill EVER ****LEGIT****

This is a video of the final boss of Suikoden II getting beaten in about 6 seconds of action.

This video showcases the absolute fastest way the Beast Rune can be beaten without the use of gamesharks and external cheat devices. Luc gets a critical hit on the rune, killing it, while Rina gets a multiple attack on the heads, both of which are critical hits. Although not necessary to pull it off, I boosted their TECH/LUCK to max using the stat stone trick in order to get a higher % chance for criticals. The same thing can be done at normal stats and normal levels obviously, only there will be a much lower chance of getting the exact same sequence. Note that boosting STR didn't make a difference at all, because the Kindness Rune already gives a base attack of 1k.


These are Luc's and Rina's setups:

Luc
Runes: Double-Beat / Fury / Double-Strike / Kindness
Equipment: Silver Hat / Robe of Mist / Skill Ring x2

Rina
Runes: Killer / Fury / Double-Strike / Kindness
Equipment: Wind Hat / Ninja Suit / Skill Ring x3


Further notes:
-I made use of a multiple hit from Rina to finish off the heads rather than a second hit from a Double-Beat Rune, because a multiple hit is slightly faster.
-A second Kindness Rune can be gotten at the Guardian Deity event.


Just because some players might be ignorant to how the damage adds up, let me give a quick explanation:

Both Luc and Rina are using the Kindness Rune, giving them a base of 1k damage. Fury and Double-Strike Runes give them a x1.5 multiplier each, and a critical hit multiplies damage by another x3. Put simply:

raw damage = 1000 x 1.5 x 1.5 x 3 = 6750


Also, the rune has a property that halves almost all forms of damage, and that is why Luc does 'only' 3k+ critical on the rune.



Another note on the stat stone trick: it is not even a bug, contrary to popular belief. Konami intended that characters retain their levels/stats when they die, no matter how high they are. It is not a flaw in the programming. The programmers INTENDED it to work that way.

@TheBosanchero these are clearly not cheats. there is a glitch for growing lvl 39 to 99. he obviously used kindness for luc and rina's weapons.they were sharpened to 16.And the stat stone trick. Is all of that clear that these arent cheats?
