This is the Whelen 3016. This siren is located at the Reynoldsburg high school in Reynoldsburg which is a suburb of Columbus Ohio. As of December 9,2009 there were 172 sirens connected to the Franklin county EMA. Of the 172 sirens, 32 where the 3016. This was recorded during a tornado warning. That is why i missed the start of the siren. I am going to try to record some test. I am going to try to get the voice next month. I will also try to get the Whelen 4004 to.

  • love the 3016 sirens. glad theres still some around - wish they still made them, tho.

  • @timeslip325 yeah. The sad thing is that they want to replace these with 4004 and 4003.

  • I love how you can see the lightning reflecting off of everything. I'm guessing this is the storm we had back in September?

  • @thecompanycar Yeah that is cool. yeah it was.
