I did this music video for my editing techniques class. David Bowie's "Let's Dance" fit perfectly with Gene Kelly's moves. Enjoy!

Some excellent juxtapositions here - "would break my heart in two", "gray chiffon", and "you could fall into my arms, and tremble like a flower". Especially considering this is all "found" footage, with nothing shot specifically to go with the lyrics.
Actually this is a better music video that David Bowie's original, in terms of illustrating what's being sung about.

I hate mashups, I really do. They are universally awful, with crappy music and poorly timed and/or chosen clips. Or so I thought until I found this one. This is the first thing done like this that I *ever* liked. Excellent song choice, not just for lyrics, but for tempo. Perfect clip choices ... just wow. Color me impressed.
