Checkpoints are spontanious reaction to palestinian terror attacks in Israel. They are not meant for normal palis, but to prevent suicidal murderers entering the state. And we have documented cases of women wearing explosive belts and even children.

Statistics say that about 90% of the terror attacks are prevented by the army and that really says it all.

And saying the majority of the soldiers are mean is just retarded.

really? well, youre talking to someone who goes to palestine and israel every summer. in my experience, there has been 1 guy that was semi-nice at the checkpoints. the rest were very very mean, pointing their guns at everyone. saying roochi roochi and cursing at us in arabic and hebrew, telling us to move and be quiet. i didnt do anything, im an american. until this year, i didnt even know anything about politics. i think there are some nice soldiers, but the majority are beyond mean.

"far from it. the soldiers are usually assholes or total bitches pointing guns at everyone" - this is not true, my unit purpose is to treat arabs as a human being, and be professional about there job(the Checkpoints). i have never hit and point my gun at some one with no reason.

its ok, im not an asshole i support israel and i support palestinians, i dont like hamas and i dont like everything israel has done, nor do i support settlers..but most israelis dont, thats all my point is, my profile looks like im just pro israel but if you read it youll find im not its just lots of people have hate towards one side when they have never been there, im mainly having ago at people in my country,
