  • So why not some Tippett as background music???

  • Because I have produced a 6 hour DVD of LSSO home videos with overdubbed LSSO performances and this is just a snatch of the tape. Complete performances of Shires Suite and Suite in D feature at other places in the DVD. Go to my lsso website and go to the "hear us play" section for more Tippett.

  • If you were any part of this orchestra and associated with the great man in any way, know this........there is an idiot of a critic who thinks this composer should be forgotten!Does it hurt? cos' if it does,do something about it , and share with the world how wrong this is!peole who "do not get it" very often take a defensive position, but he is so way out of line....if you want to see more, just type in Tippett and see the rubbishing he supplies....
