I lost count of the number of times Mr Hitchens took his glasses off and put them back on again. You can only use that for dramatic effect once really.. otherwise it just makes you seem really desperate to hide the fact your argument has zero weight. Which in this case, is true. Cannabis should be legal, end of.

there is no justification for the current legal situation with cannabis as long as alcohol and tobacco are legal as it has been scientifically proven that cannabis is far less harmful, has medicinal properties but most importantly, the people the government are meant to represent want it! the worlds laws shouldn't be based on religion but morality, if this was the case there would be no war just peace and we could "explore space, both inner and outer forever in peace" - bill hicks

Peter Reynolds is an ignoramus. Cocaine acts by blocking monoamine transporters; heroin acts by agonising the mu-opioid receptor; methamphetamine acts by reversing the monoamine transporters; alcohol and benzodiazepines act by agonizing the benzodiazepine site. All of these things have an "affinity" to our natural chemistry. Well duh! That's how they produce their psychotropic effect. This doesn't mean they are good for you or that they ought to be legal.

Nuclear weapons are "legal" but something given to me by Mother Nature is not , why is it the Government feel the need to dictate to me what is safe and not. Why can I not make my own mind up.... I mean think about it the Government go around telling people what is safe personally i find that strange....

y is it tht cigarettes and alcohol kill millones off people ever year and cannabis kills no one medical benefits it has alot slows tumor growth relieves symptoms of chronic diseases prevents alzheimers the list gos on and on legalise it already
