And Then They Came To India, a dance theatre scripted and directed by Mallika Sarabhai, portrays the history of the Iranians from 10000 years ago and of the group of Iraniana who broke away from their to escape religious persecutions and became the Parsi community in India. This production is a mingling of dance, theatre and story telling, in the form of a sutradhar, a whirling dervish.
The dance drama opens with tales from the times preceding the birth of Zarathustra, of the great kings Cyrus and Xerxes who ruled well and brought issues like human rights to the civilized consciousness, progresses to exploring the birth of Zoroastrianism, the rise of Islam and culminates in the final escape of the Zoraostrians to India.

That's not true. The parsis are descended from Iranian traders on the coasts of Sindh/Gujarat. Only their male chromosomes are iranian. Their female chromosomes are of gujarati origin making them the result of a male only migration; yes TRADERS, NOT immigrants. This whole, 'escaped from the Muslims' is crap. And you are no one to make comments about someone's family. If a Zoroastrian woman married a Muslim man its her business, not yours. Many Zorostrians became Muslims.
