My name is Wiola and I am a freelance riding instructor who wanted to create a system of coaching services for dedicated, ambitious and committed riders at all levels...
About the Academy
There are many ways in which to learn to ride and train to improve and compete your horse. In the ideal world we would all be committed, inspired riders, fit and skilful, who do their best at home having regular lessons, in driving rain, snow or overwhelming heat. We would all keep up with our competition goals and challenge ourselves with well scheduled pre-competition training.
In reality, however, it takes a lot of effort to stay motivated when life away from horses takes up a lot of our time, strength and vitality. It's easy to lose track of training plans, the goals become a hardship and unrealistic deadlines more of a stress than an adventurous challenge. The Aspire Equestrian Riding Academy is here to take care of your progress and skill development, to promote your enjoyment of the sport and to help you maintain your motivation and drive to improve. We encourage you to work hard but thanks to comprehensive, holistic support you will be able to enjoy the process of achieving your goals.
"It's the journey, not the destination"...
I wanted the Academy to be relatively mobile and run at various venues so the riders could benefit from it even if they weren't based at large yards with top facilities. I also wanted it to provide comprehensive support from variety of instructors and trainers for riders who are passionate and driven but don't have the opportunity to take part in professional, structured training plans.
The training is arranged over 5 levels ranging from those for beginner riders to those who compete at affiliated competitions and train for Equine Industry qualifications.
The Training Programmes include:
• Start Programme - learning to ride
• Foundation Programme -- all-round riding education
• Development Programme - focused training
• Performance Programme - train & compete for success
• British Horse Society (BHS) examination training
You can start at the beginning and progress through the Programmes or simply join the one at your current level. Each Programme is designed to develop certain skills and pass on specific knowledge and they are all built around 5 main elements.
The 5 main programme elements:
• Ridden Training
• Rider's Fitness & Performance
• Horse Knowledge & Care
• Equitation Theory
• Intensive Training Days
The Training Options:
• You can purchase a one-off 4 week Training Plan (like you would a voucher in a Riding School or a series of lessons with an instructor);
• You can purchase the 4 week Training Plan a few times a year when it suits your needs;
• You can ride with the Academy throughout the year by purchasing 12 consecutive Training Plans.
Please feel free to browse through the levels and watch the Case Study videos to find the one most suitable for you and/or your horse. I hope you will enjoy the materials we have put on the site and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or feedback you may have.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Happy Training!
