  • i caught some fish in a creek and im trying to find out what kind of fish is it and this look like the closes to it, but i'm not sure still

    Crucian carps only live in europe and northern asia.

    Don't mix the names of the Prussian Carp (Carassius gibelio) and

    Crucian carp (Carassius carassius). In this video you can see Crucian carps.

    It's possible that Crucian carps and goldfish breed and you get hybrids. You should avoid creating hybrids in a tank (and NEVER release them into a lake).

    Hybrids of Prussian carps and goldfish are also possible, although rarely. Because there are mostly female prussian carps which clones themselve via Gynogenesis.

  • Mmh, I don't think so. They don't look very similar. White bass or sand bass (Morone chrysops) is a member of the sunfish family and not of the carp.
