Since the beginning of time, I've existed prehistoric
As what you call a caveman in times less euphoric,
Responsible for the wheel, set on a quest for fire,
While those around me no longer fresh expired,
I adapted though, still traveled a lonely road,
Built pyramids with Egyptians a hand on every stone,
Walking hundreds of miles, watchin my shoes bleed,
Then I rode a chariot carried by two steeds,
There was a time where there was nothing I wouldn't fuckin destroy,
Became alliances with Greece for the destruction of Troy,
Seen many faces with the crown and the throne,
Beside Romulus and Remus for the founding of Rome,
I saw the death of Buddha, taught Aristotle and Confucius,
Conspired against Caesar with Marcus Junius Brutus,
Saw the birth of Christ, and the miracles he performed,
Everyone who adored and those who just ignored,
I saw every nail hammered, the cross brought to a stand,
And the spear for the worst pain ever brought to a man,
He died, than three days later I saw him rise,
Striking shock fear and glory into everyone's eyes,
Watched rome burn to the ground as Nero played his fiddle,
And just listened to his tunes til the flames became little,
My eyes witness Jerusalem fall,
How different would things be if people followed a pugilist's call?
Snorted a line of the first batch of gunpowder made
By the Chinese, my knees buckled and gave,
I, arrived to ride by Joan of Arc's side,
til she was captured outside Paris tied and burned alive
and Chris Columbus, well he was quite the character
but it was really me who truly discovered America,
People I've never seen, to me still people,
Christopher disagreed and said they looked evil,
Trying to sway his judgment I was banished and left,
Back to where I came only to hear what happened next,
One night I heard cries, from Paul Revere's ride,
"The British are coming!" I replied "Fight, Hide, or Die!"
Back to my roots, survivor, ready to fuckin kill,
Fought for the U.S in the Battle of Bunker Hill
Saw the first car, 1903,
The craziest thing I've seen called the Ford Model T
Fought in both World Wars, stayed high in Vietnam,
Seeing all my friends die while killin the Vietcong,
And through all this, still rockin a dirty shirt,
So for cash I handled Thomas Edison's dirty work,
And at the same time, was crossing a fine line,
Cuz I traveled to gain knowledge from Albert Einstein,
I was there for the first T.V, and got to see,
Smoking Joe Frazier vs Muhammad Ali
I witnessed the first glimpse, of full blown AIDS
saw coke turned to base, then crack rocks were made
I was there when the towers fell by steel birds,
And so were you some of us can still feel burns
in the pit of our stomachs, Bush fucked up our country,
Feeding the fat and wealthy, starving the poor and hungry,
So though I've been cursed since birth to roam the Earth,
Imma take it as a blessing, and make it all work,
I live every day like that day is my last,
And move ahead to the future cuz I done played in the past
