Praise for Enslaved

Objective: This video is meant to show appreciation/praise for the Norwegian band Enslaved. A few arguments will be shown as well as some musical excerpts (and a bonus at the end). Enslaved should have the biggest audiences in Extreme Metal!

Intent: Will people please understand this is a comment about Enslaved's Music & Path as an Extreme Music Band. I do not endorse, support or comment on religious, political or economical beliefs.

PS: Ivar's bum appearance at the end of "Return to Yggdrasill" DVD Extra footage was not a welcomed one. It was The Biggest & Most Disgusting , Fattest talking bum crack I have ever seen. I am glad I did not throw up (as I held it in) and didn't see the actual bum hole. Thank Goodness!

Core Message:
Let the Music Do The Talking

- The contagious riffs
- The quick transitions
- The floating transitions
- The crafty solos
- The beautiful clean vocals
- The insanely hypnotic keyboard passages

- Most non-poser band ever seen (just see any interview)
- Enslaved are into it for the love of music
- Each album is better than the next
- Enslaved support the fans releasing an album roughly every 2 years
- Enslaved do not use Satanism for self-promotion
- No other band has evolved so much and constantly (throughout their carrier) without abandoning their identity and roots at any given point
- Enslaved clearly state their inspirations & give due credit
- No other band would ever admit they made a weaker album on their own dvd release
- Enslaved flies the flag of progressive black metal (as if any other argument was necessary)
- Ivar Bjornson was 12 and Grutle Kjellson was 17 when they formed the band

Just my Opinion

Musical taste is a very personal thing

Enslaved is the band that has kept me entertained and happy the most in the past few months.
