I know it's easy to mock the afflicted, but I thought dprjones' video attacking KassieDill's stance on capital punishment was little better than Kassie's.

  • did you even watch his vid properly??? his point was that dumb bitch just blabbered lie, she was lazy to even check online to confirm her "facts" she said states that have death penalty have lower crime rate. dprjones was tryin 2 show that she was lying, she has no evidence to support her claim.she was like venomfagx a liar, narrowminded idiot.. n yur vid makes yu look lame. yu should delete it cos it serves no purpose.

  • @chinamanspeakenlis Now let me see....

    Crazy ranting? Check!

    Poor writing skills? Check!

No videos on his channel? Check!

If it looks and sounds like a troll....

  • I don't think that DPRJones point was the the death penalty INCREASES crime, just that it can't be the opposite if the areas with one have higher instances of violent crime

  • @AtheistBaby I agree dprjones doesn't claim that the death penalty increases crime, but I disagree that the death penalty "can't be the opposite if the areas with one have higher instances of violent crime". The way to prove THAT is to take a state with the death penalty, remove the death penalty and then see if violent crime decreases.

It might well do that, but dprjones' video doesn't show that, and his "look at the numbers! argument isn't much better than Kassie's "common sense" arguement.

  • These states are violent places and in violent places people are more tolerant of having a death penalty in their statutes because they know that punishment serves as a deterrent against crime.

The harsher the punishment, the more of a deterrent it is. If you reduced the punishment for murder to a civil infraction with a $100 fine and guaranteed expungement after 90 days I can guarantee you murder rates will skyrocket, especially in violence prone areas.
