Fud Leclerc performing "Ton Nom" ("Your Name"), the Belgian entry at the 1962 Eurovision Song Contest.
Fud's 4th appearance at the contest (weren't there any other singers in French-speaking Belgium back then?) would also be an undignified last one, since this song has the dubious honor of being among that year's bunch of entries which scored the contest's first-ever "nul points" - no less than four of them, actually (although this has a lot to do with a new voting system that was implemented that year). Anyway, this is not such a bad song as this outcome suggests - in fact, I find the orchestration to be quite interesting - but it's not that special either, IMO...
I like it. He has a nice voice, and he uses it. Perhaps the other countries were just sick of Leclerc.

Oh no, not him again!
A really boring and uninteresting song. There is absolutely no musical idea or creativity behind this. Come to think of it, it's even worse than Austria. Well deserved last place and 0 points.

I haven't heard of him ever, but I'm from the Dutch-speaking part of the country. Might be different in the south.

I must admit I'm not very much into early 60's ESC, but this song really stands out. A very interesting orchestration and Fud Leclerc gave a really good and powerful performance! A very underseving null-pointer.

Do keep them coming, Tasos, as this era of the contest is a vast grey zone after the demise of Sims.

Not really an entry that I love, but the 'null points' were really undeserved. And the Dutch commentator said in the beginning that this was the first time that Fud actually sung, because he was lost his voice during the rehearsels, that was a thing that I didn't knew! But Tasos, thank you so much for the splendid quality of the video! Keep op the great work you're doing!
