  • EPIC NEWS INTRO!!!

  • Greg Hurst is now at KHOU CBS 11 Houston since 1999 (11 years and counting).

  • Scott Clark is still with WABC ... his hair is just about white and he wears glasses now.

  • porque los canales de television o radio estadounidenses tiene nombres wxxl wabc wkwk excetera

  • New York is a larger media market and WABC is older.

  • The OBB and news set for ABS-CBN's TV Patrol and The World Tonight used from 1992-1995 using News Series 2000 opening and closing theme.

  • Is Dan Ingram the voice on the intro.. I know he did an awful lot of v/o work after his 77 WABC disc jockey says.

  • Well, not quite. LIN TV's flagship is WPRI in Providence, LIN's home city, though their biggest station by market size is WISH in Indy.

  • flagship is always in the highest market demographic, new york is 1, los angeles is 2. there is also flagship stations by coast, such as WABC is the east coast flagship of ABC while KABC is the west coast flagship of ABC. Samething goes with WNBC and KNBC and WCBS and KCBS.

  • wouldn't KABC-DT be the actual flagship station of ABC and walt disney just because its parent company is near KABC's studios?
