I'm SCOTTISH, not IRISH!

First of all, I'd just like to make it clear that I absolutely adore the Irish and sometimes wished I were one of them! However, I do like my Scottish nationality and would like to point out that I am indeed Scottish, not Irish like many assume!

Hello Amy. I'm Irish and I work in the tourism sector in Northwestern Ireland. I have a neutral accent. It sounds from nowhere around my area. Some think it's from Dublin, I only do day trips twice a year to Dublin. I'm not a fan of big cities. Anyway, Yeah because of the enormous scottish influence in Ulster. It is easy to make a mistake. But in northeast Ulster there is a similar accent. Obviously not from you coming here but the reverse Ulster People going to and coming from Scotland. Cheerio
