Dussek Adagio from Farewell Sonata op. 44

Here, in the words of Dussek, is a "New Years Gift" - the 2nd movement of Jan Ladislav Dussek's Sonata in Eb op. 44, "The Farewell". You can follow along with the first edition from 1800. You may notice that I take some freedom with the printed indications; call it artistic license! Note the distinction between dotted 16th to 32nd note, and double-dotted 16th to 64th note (I make a rhythmic alteration in the first and third measures to agree with the 2nd statement). Enjoy... and as the Brooklyn rowdies continue to celebrate in the street below, I wish a very Happy New Year to all music lovers!
