northern afghanistan is the place of the tajiks the turkmens havnt got any land in afghanistan they are from terkey they occupied land in the years of the ottomans and than the turkmens wanted to form an own state en the became rebels now they have their own land but because of war many turkmens fled to iran and afghanistan so basicly the turkamsn havt got any land in afghanistan wsalam
