Just yesterday JoAnne Kloppenburg was projected the winner by the AP, by 200 votes against Justice David Prosser, in what was seen as proxy race . That is until a County Clerk named Kathy Nickolaus managed to misplace a whole town's votes . And this town happened to be in a largely Republican district . These types of " errors by Kathy Nickolaus has been the subject of many complaints from other Waukesha officials on how she handles elections and keeps public information to herself outside the official county system where others can verify it . In addition, other suspicious questions are raised. (1) The suspicions due to the fact that the " discovery " not only swung the election but also put the race just barely past the amount needed to trigger a state-financed recount . (2) Nickolaus waited 24 hours to report the discovery . This makes it harder it harder to challenge and audit the integrity of the vote . (3) The partisan political history of Nickolaus and complaints . (4) Posser is a former boss of Nickolaus . Although this could just be in fact human error, there are far to many suspicious coincidences for there not to be an investigation . The group Citizen Action of Wisconsin is calling for an immediate federal investigation and impoundment of all computer equipment, ballots, and other relevant evidence needed to verify a fair vote count in Waukesha County. Kloppenburg campaign manager Melissa Mulliken, has started the process hiring the national law firm Perkins Coie -- which has an office in Madison, Wis. For further information use link below .

  • The votes were entered into microsoft access which doesn't even have a 'save' button which was the alleged human error.

  • Medusa lost her head...

  • Sounds like a bunch of sore losers.......a proverbial house was dropped on this Kloppenburg bitch....ding dong the witch is dead!

  • @ickybird

She sounds like a real jackass, I agree. I thought she kept the data on an old PC, but not her own property. Either way, it's obvious that her conduct is unacceptable. It also is obvious that she did not commit a crime. The information was not only on her computer, after all. It was in lots of places, including the original counter. Just understand this is just the AP's unofficial report she screwed up, nothing official at all. The official reporting was done correctly.

  • Respond to this video...She also has a history of illegal activity in similar situations. She turned states witness

to turn in others who were part of her criminal activity. By giving the chance to be states witness, she was not exonerated for her actions. She just could give them bigger fish to fry.

  • @DTownzz

What is CLEARLY illegal is the fact that she kept this information on her PERSONAL computer, and did not let others have access to it ( by law all legal records must be made public info in this state) and she didn't save it.

This woman's background is in computer engineering and she has been in this position and other political positions for many years. If she does not know the law and how to hit a save button I would say she has some SERIOUS problems.

  • This happen more than once. This is fishy

  • @ickybird

It's illegal? She made an honest mistake and reported it. Scrutiny has cleared her of wrongdoing. She simply made a mistake. Sure, she should be fired of course, but she isn't a criminal. This lie that she's some kind of evil shady badguy is just BS nonsense fed by those who want to delegitimize the results.

It's similar to those who actually justified shutting congress down and anarchy to letting Republicans have their legislation pass. they won the election. It's OK.

  • @discoverytime1

It's pretty clear what happened was hardly fraud. This town obviously had turnout. Their votes are similar in number and partisanship to surrounding areas and predictions. It's not like Kathy was able to change the count, since she merely passed that information along (and messed up initially by not including this town).

You're right. The outrage is that her initial error would have given the win to Klopp when the voters wanted Prosser.

  • Every office is partisan nowadays. Even my city's supposedly non-partisan city council has endorsements from political parties. The "professor" needs to think a bit more.
