Chpater Three
(DEMI)

I left work the following hour telling my boss that I had to get home to help my mom. After changing I walked in the door. My mom was upstairs. She was laying in bed with Selena next to her.

MOM WHATS WRONG?! I said franticly looking around.

Hunny, Demi Calm down. Everything is fine. She said back calmly.

The door bell rang.

Selena could you go get that I think you will like who is there. She told Selena. And sat up

Selena left and I helped my mother get up. I sat her in the wheelchair. Then I heard selena scream. Oh no. we went to the elevator. And went down.


(JOE)
Me and my mom went to the door of the house. I was small but still big enough to house three people. We rang the door bell and I heard someone coming down the stairs. The door opened and I saw a girl, very pretty but not my type. She had long brownish-black hair that was straight and had a smile on her face.

oh my godyour..yourAH!!!!! she screamed.

Yes, I am I told her calmly.

There was a beeping sound

what was that? I asked

oh it was the elevator it was probably my mom with Demi she told me as we sat down on the couch

who is dem- I was cut off. All of a sudden I saw the most beautiful girl in the world. She has long brown hair and a good body. Damn. I said to myself. She didnt see me. Selena ran up to her.

DEMI! LOOK WHO IS HERE? she said excited.

Demi looked over at me and sneared. I was hurt, way wasnt she falling over me like other girls?

oh let me help my mom offered. And they both left. Leaving me with this demi girl.

oh I know who you are she said anger in her voice. She stepped closer to me.

Then something happened something I didnt see coming. I suddenly felt a warm hand cross my face. Hard. She. Demi Lovato had slapped me. Hard.

ha. I told myself when ever I met you if I did I would slap you my dream came true. thank you. She said and sat on the other side of the room
We were having a glaring contest when my mother came in.

JOSEPH. Your cheek is red! What happened my mom asked. She was pushing something in a wheelchair . the women had rag on her head and looked weak. She must be mrs. Lovato

Joesph you have grown so much. The last time I saw you, you were 2. The women said.

yes. My and denise were roommates in college. Joe is 20 the last time I saw him he was 2. She told demi.

awe selena said not taking her eyes off me. It was kind of freaky.

mom is this the news you had? Because I dont find this punk a reason to leave work early. No offense Denise she said sharply.

no her mother said as my mom wheeled her over to the chair. We were all there. It was silent.

Demi, sweetie you know that this cancer is going to get the best of me. Right? And I want you to be okay when that happens. For the past couple of years me and Denise have been talking and she agreed to take care of you and Selena if the day comes where I do leave this world her mother said while coughing.

how mom? Im only 17. She said.

well me and Denise have come to the conclusion that for her to be able to take care of you, you need to marry joe

WHAT? me and demi said at the same time. Selena looked shocked. Mad and sad.

MOM YOU CANT DO THIS! she yelled.

One this was for sure. Taylor would be pissed. Nick and Kevin Would be shocked and I was for sure on the way of a trip of a lifetime.
