(Part 2) The refugees I talked to at a Shan camp expressed their deep longing to return to Burma and live in peace and how uncertain their future was residing in an unofficial camp at the mercy of the Thai government. Living privileged lives with countless opportunities before us, we forget (or choose to ignore) the reality that millions of displaced persons and refugees are suffering needlessly.
