Birthday Project :: song 3 of 3

The last one!

This is one of the songs I recorded as a birthday present for one of my best friends. She is not necessarily a fan of the Spice Girls. Even more so, she never really listened to any of their songs, but during a Sinterklaas party a couple of months back, my friends and I listened to one of their CDs. Ah, the nostalgia~

Anyway, Eva's birthday was coming up in a couple of weeks, and she jokingly told me that the only thing she wanted from me was a cover of one of a song of the Spice Girls. Little did she know that I took this as a challenge! HAH! I chose three songs and recorded them in three days. I worked very, very, very hard on the covers, trying to get everything right. Replacing five girls is not an easy task, you know! I'm fairly proud of the result.

I recorded the songs December last year.

Let me know what you think! Any kind of criticism is much appreciated. No Spice Girls flamers, please.

Thank you so much! Yes, I do everything myself, apart from recording the instrumental music, obviously, and any backing vocals that come with that instrumental version. As for the rest (additional background vocals, the lead, mixing my singing with the music, final editing, etc), I do all of that myself ^^
