This is one of my projects this last semester. The idea is to give life to a video (in this case a silent film from 1918) by applying music, sound and folley effects, and dialogue. It is a shortened version of an original movie, info below:
"A Dog's Life (1918) is a silent film written, produced and directed by Charlie Chaplin. This was Chaplin's first film for First National Films. Chaplin plays opposite an animal as "co-star". "Scraps" (the dog) was the hero in this film, as he helps Charlie and Edna toward a better life. Edna Purviance plays a dance hall singer and Charlie Chaplin, The Tramp. Sydney Chaplin (Chaplin's brother) had a small role in this film; this was the first time the two brothers were on screen together (Wikipedia)."
I do not claim any copyright to the video clip as I only added the sound. Hope you'll enjoy this film as much as I have, notably the flawless performance of the slapstick genius that is Charlie Chaplin.
If you like (or otherwise) this work, please feel free to provide comments.
Thanks,
Anwar
