I like what your saying about the clock, but I have a difference of oppinian. I believe the clock represents the time that Kohta forgot about the past and when lucy wanted to apoligize for kill Kohta's family. For both of them, they couldn't move forward in time until they made up for what happened in the past.

I'll explain the ending because i read the manga and i know what happens. That is Lucy at the door BUT, it is not Nyu. Nyu and Lucy got reborn into 2 different bodies. Eventually Kohta kills lucy because she used to much power trying to protect him or something and her body melted. Skip ahead 10 years, Kohta goes to the place he 1st met Lucy as kids and he has two daughters with him. They are the reincarnations of Lucy & Nyu.yes it is Lucy at the door. BUT Lucy does die at the end of the manga.

Both anime and manga has very emotional ending. I mean the final scene with Lucy, not the one wich show's what happen after main events.

i wonder why all amazing anime like Elfen Lied , Steins;Gate , Angel Beats and much more have so little episodes 13 --> 24 episodes !? and no1 of these have season 2
