Let's Blow Some Stuff Up - Battlefield 3

In case anyone is curious, I recorded this with DXtory, edited it in Sony Vegas 10, used Twixtor for the slow motion, and here is my setup:

AMD Phenom x6 1090t OC'd to 3.8 ghz
8gb DDR2
Lots of hard drives. Just leave it at that.
Asus 27" monitor, + 2 x 22" monitors
XFX Radeon 6870
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

hey @jermgaming i need to know, what do you use to overclock your amd cpu?

no matter what i try, if i overclock my cpu i get terrible rubberbanding in bf3, it was the same in bfbc2.

i have to set the clock back to default settings and the rubberbanding stops

i got a phenom II x4 925BE (2.8ghz quad) btw, and i been using turboV for the overclock.

@JeDiSh3eP Overclock in the BIOS, don't use a program in Windows. I've never had success with those.

@pairalines Open up the Console Command window by hitting ` and type "ui.drawenable false" to turn it off (no quotes) and "ui.drawenable true" to turn it back on.

I was wondering what kind setting I could play battlefield 3 at because I want to buy it but I don't want to buy it if it can't run it above medium settings (I can play most games on ultra)

What settings are you running the game on in the video? Also what is your normal FPS?

only happens i was using asus turbo v to overclock, & it was only in battlefield games.

i could use turbo v and play crysis 2 with no problem whatsoever,

bfbc2 and i couldnt take 2 steps without rubberbanding. i'd alt+tab out, and go back to default clock settings and the problem would go away.

software overclocking was definitely the problem.

it happened in single player MoH aswell, makes me think that the frostbite engine and turboV don't play nicely with each other.
