I get sick of people criticizing Patrick for not winning a championship. You don't win one by yourself. Hell Jordan didn't win until Pippen came into the fray.
Ewing didn't play with one hall of famer. And how many championships did Reggie Miller win? How about Malone? Stockton? Barkley?
Fuck you haters! Patrick Ewing was a WARRIOR and a LEGEND! If NBA players, today, had half of his heart, the league would be so much better.

In defense of Charles smith, he was a center / power forward being asked to play sf. Just a bad fit. Had they kept Xman or landed Dominque, which I think was a rumor, they might have won!

I never had to question Ewing's effort. Man left it all on the floor!! That's all you can ask. All the 90s teams gave everything! I don't even live in NY & I loved that team!!

@LazlosPlane Yes the reason Ewing never won a championship is because he dint rebound enough, your a moron, don't compare Ewing and Russell, Russell played with 8 HoF, Ewing dint even play with a perennial all-star, tell me this genius; while Ewing is focus on his rebounding, who would do the scoring for the Knicks?

@LazlosPlane how many NBA Finals did Shaq and Robinson get to by them self? i'm not knocking Duncan, but he had a much better teams around him then Ewing ever did and he dint have to deal with Jordan. Olajuwon was the best center of that era, but i still pick Ewing over him. Ewing is the only player of that era that dint play with another star/all-star/HoF.
