It is true! You cannot watch Jake Hess sing and not smile too! This is also my favourite configuration of the group. I like the group when it had Jake Hess and Big Chief. I always wonder why we don't get any quartets these days which can even hold a candle to the Statesmen; maybe it's just a combination of the groups charisma as well as the vintage sound from the old audio equipment. Anyways, awesome song by an awesome quartet
