Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Somali born ex-Muslim. She fled Somalia to the Netherlands 12 years ago because she was about to be forced into an arranged marriage.
She became a member of the Dutch parliament few years ago.

Theo van Gogh was a Dutch film director and columnist. He was a relative of famous Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh.
Van Gogh had shot a film scribed by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, named "Submission" is a 10 minute film.
The film criticize the treatment of women in Islam, both Van Gogh and Ali had received death threats after its broadcast in August.
November 2nd, Theo van Gogh had been murdered east of Amsterdam while he was cycling to his work.
The police found a letter in Arabic addressed to Ayaan Hirsi Ali spiked on the body of van Gogh. Here is what it says:
An Open Letter to [Aayan] Hirsi Ali

Death, Ms. Hirsi Ali, is the common theme of all that exists. You and the rest of the cosmos cannot escape this truth.

There will come a day when one soul cannot help another soul. A day that goes paired with terrible tortures, when the unjust will press horrible screams from their lungs.

Screams, Ms. Hirsi Ali that will cause chills to run down a person's back, and make the hairs on their heads stand straight up. People will be drunk with fear, while they are not drunken. Fear will fill the air on the Great Day.

I know definitely that you, Oh America, will go down. I know definitely that you, Oh Europe, will go down. I know definitely that you, Oh Netherlands, will go down. I know definitely that you, Oh Hirsi Ali, will go down.
The police accused Muhammad B (Muslim Moroccan-Dutch dual citizen) of the murder. He was shot in the leg by a policemen near the murder scene after resisting arrest.
