FFVII - Level 2 Aerith vs Aps (NMIE)

NM = No Materia
IE = Initial Equipment

This is the lowest level on which a character can face a boss in the game, but it's the easiest battle so far. I'm using the good old "Grenade Frenzy" strategy, and with the combination of back row and Sadness, one Healing Wind is more than enough.

how did you get aeris to be level 2 ?

Run away from all random battles and make sure Cloud is the only one who receives EXP from Guard Scorpion and Air Buster. Then, she'll join on level 2.

aerith is great, i definatly would have taken her in the party for the whole game, if there were not this.. death thing..

Oh and Garland. I know you say to keep things on topic, but what do you think the hardest FF7 & 10 challenges are? (If you know..)

Air Buster's Energy Beam is only used after Big Bomber has been used, I believe, 4 times. So, obviously you're ending the battle before that point.

Thats probably why, also the Air Buster uses a beam like attack yet he has never used it on me. Could it be the same thing?
