Divine Sinners performing original song "Outsider"

Special thanks to Jamie Camilleri for filming this.

OUTSIDER (Charles J. Attard/Frank Buhagiar)

Take a look at yourself as an outsider
Can you see what I see?
Can you feel what I feel?
Can you hear what I'm hearing?
Can you understand me?

Take a look at yourself as a footprint ashore
Being kissed by a wave
Wave a perfect goodbye
Seagulls are flying
Can you remember me?

Maybe I'm a step stone
Maybe you're a bridge
Maybe I'm a pavement
Maybe you're a wish

We might be out of tune
Still we can dream on
And it's easy to say
Broken hearts light the sun

Yet we're two outsiders
And we'll never belong
We're two outsiders
We'll never belong

Take a look at yourself as a highway forlorn
Crossroad to nowhere
Out in the cold
Forever waiting
Can you ever know me?

Maybe I'm a shadow
Maybe you're a dear
Maybe I'm a raindrop
Maybe you're a tear

We might be rather wild
But inside we're both tame
People think we're a joke
That don't mean we're insane

We're two outsiders
And life's just a game
We're two outsiders
And we don't feel no shame

We're two outsiders and we'll never belong
We're two outsiders and we'll never belong
We're two outsiders and we'll never belong
We're two outsiders and we'll never belong

Take a look at yourself as an outsider
Can you see what I see?
Can you feel what I feel?
Can you hear what I'm hearing?
Can you understand me?

  • @MrECLECTICIAN Thank you very much for your comment. Glad you like the song. Yes, since the song was recorded live in an empty hall, we did end up with a bit of an echo. :)
