@Brutalyte616 oh, that makes sense! i guess i can see where, toward the end of the game where a massed mixed army of *lot/DT would come into play, the opposite side would already have strong AOE that could catch DTs out. i can dig that.

but, yeah, i still think mixing in some extra DPS from DTs could make that frontline really dangerous.

@DisillusionedAcronym Good question. I'm not very knowledgeable of this sort of thing myself but I think the reasoning behind it is DTs would be less effective than Zealots at the front lines and AoE could kill them very easily even without knowledge on the opponent's part. Plus a sensible person would keep detectors of some description up-front just in case. It would be very dangerous but as you said it can be disastrous for the opponent if it works.

quick question (since i don't really get the deeper theorycraft): why don't more people mix DTs into a charge-/zealot force? i've only seen it done occasionally and, for the most part, it's fairly devastating.

No, i never cheesed either. Vs terran i always do 1gate expand into robo and collosus. Then try to switch to chargelot archon before i get killed by drops >.>

@thehumor Because if you lose to stim+emp everytime then either you have horribad micro/macro or you simply refuse to tech to appropriate counters. What even makes you think actually play terran and not protoss? I'm just sick and tired of people crying and crying about a balanced game because they're too full of themselves to even consider they might be able to improve too..
