  • it is possible to play A lydian by playing A minor pentatonic -1 fret. do you know if any other modes could be played using this pentatonic shift??

  • @ohhellyeahgimmeabeer

On a major chord, you can use a minor pentatonic down an half tone from root of major chord to get a lydian sound... for example: on C major play B minor pentatonic.

On a minor chord, you can use a minor pentatonic up an whole tone from root of minor chord to get a dorian sound... for example: on C minor play D minor pentatonic.

There are several way to get other modes... expecially using dominant pentatonic!

    Enjoy
