1 last thing as I sit here with a beer feeling pleased about the repair , because I didnt check the throttle clamp position it was holding the buuterfly closed (didnt notice) and went on to check the flywheel sheer pin , obviously that was ok but maybe a vid on that to as it wasnt such a hard check, anyway good job cheers again

oh and I failed to mark the throttle clamp position and that delayed the fix but once again thanks

Fantastic, watched this, ordered the gaskets off ebay (£2.40), fitted them while talking on the phone to my Dad, then fired it up....never loved the sound of my little lawnmower so much! Thanks for bothering to put this up..my 20year old mower lives on (in a wet and soggy Leyland -Northern England)...!
No, it was not a highliter. It is a paint pen. You can get them at most hardware stores. It writes on just about anything. Junk yards use them a lot to mark used parts. They cost about $3 bucks.
