So often I find a vehicle left outside overnight that cranks but won't start. Many times the problem is no fuel delivery. I don't like pushing them inside so we came up with this device that helps us diagnose the problem and at the same time be able to simply drive the vehicle into the shop for better testing and fuel pump replacement if necessary. Hope this will help you too.

  • Could you perform this with a fuel cleaning canister? Like the one OTC offers. Thanks

  • Sure, as long as you can put fuel in it and pressurize it with air.

  • Also, which brand of master fuel pressure test kit do you prefer? Thanks.

  • I got the kit I use several years ag. The brand is TDK. I got it from the Snap On truck. From what I've seen, most of them are about the same. You'll most likely only use 1/3 of all the fittings but it's cheaper to buy a master kit than it is to buy each fitting individually.

  • Was the fuel pump relay disconnected? the truck running that long on that little pressure supply is surprising.

  • I been working on my car for months now. It is a 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood. And It ran great, started very easy, lacking on mpg a little compared to the normal but not bad. gets 25-27mpg and I find they get around 32mpg. Cleaned EGR no prob, Noticed clogged intake ports, cleaned them. Now it wont start. Runs on quick start easily. I know my fuel lines are pressurized but after that I don't know. So I figure something clogged within the 3 hours of cleaning those components...Started before of cours
