I already have this uploaded at the beginning of the VHS version of the first Dinoriders episode, but this opening is so freaking amazing I had to upload it by itself. Enjoy!

I even like the teacher's speech, obviously about sedimentary rocks:

"They derived from preexisting rocks through the workings of weathering, erosion, transport, and deposition - the never ending process reworking the earth's crust. Weathering is the crumbling of the crust in place through exposure to atmospheric elements. It paves the way for erosion, the carving away of rock by streams and glaciers, wind, and waves."

  • OMFG, LOL I had forgot all about this. DinoRiders was always a favorite of mine too, LOL 'Harness the Power!! DinoRiders!!' You're all sorts of educational, aren't you? I came across your channel for a WWII novel I'm hoping to write, LOL

  • I post anything I find of interest. I'll hopefully be putting up some more of those WWII docus soon - I've been having technical problems transferring them.

  • Pretty awesome. The music was cool, and the animation looked better than it did in the actual show. =P

  • Well, that's rotoscope for you. Also the music in the VHS version of the episode is just generally better... by a substantial margin.

  • I know it's actually a technique spawned out of laziness, but I'm always amazed by rotoscoped animation. It looks so damn cool!

I wonder if I could edit this into that one a-ha video...

  • This really creeped me out as a kid. not the dinosaurs cause we all know dinosaurs are awesome but the way the woman is speaking. it creeps me out.

  • This is possibly the best, and most detailed use of rotoscoping i have ever seen in my life. Brilliant!

  • I probably haven't seen this since the 80's and I immediately remembered it once I saw it. Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

  • Wow this takes me back to being 8 years old! Thanks for uploading it.

  • Episode 1 was animated and drawn superbly. Episode 2-13 were kinda cheap in comparison. I used to have all 13 episodes on VHS.

  • This is brings me back . I LOVED this opening. I hadn't seen this since I was a kid. I am going to have to watch the episodes posted!

  • It's weird but awesome.
