  • I'm not going to point out the obvious intonation mistakes he made, they were few, but I think it was probably a bad case of stage fright. I mess up my intonation when I'm nervous too! It's all about the experience. I think he was very musical, though at times it seemed like his movements were more musical than his actual playing. I didn't really hear much variation in the color of his playing. otherwise I see potential! Just more practice and solo experience. He's on his way!

  • Wonderful! This violinist certainly has a future!

  • He was 15. Give him a break. I used to know him in person and I think he's an amazing violinist!!

  • @AdvocateToTheAccuser WICH ORCHESTRA???????????that is so small:)

  • @wattamara yes, he does.....like all of us...it is probably just nerves.

He has a good bow hand and control, also great passion...all though the speed made it rather boring...not his fault:)

  • I wish I got to play in a symphony like that. How many violins is that? My orchestra has 4.

  • its nothing exceptional. Mine isn't either, but I can say such because I posted my version

  • Yay awesome job! I'm playing the first movement of this piece right now. What a great opportunity to play with orchestra in such a nice hall. Your performance was really musical and solid!

  • This was a decent performance, the soloist was O.K., as someone mentioned before, he was good at keeping it cool when he would play the wrong notes. I think that this performance would have been a lot better if the orchestra would have played in tune, and if the director would have ballanced the orchestral parts better, i thought that the horns were loud at times. Other than that, good job.

  • The orchestra... ouch LOL. they made some climactic moments a little painful. But good job to the soloist. The intonation is tricky for everyone and he has so much poise to get over mistakes quickly. Keep at it!
