Respect to Beethoven for creating the piece and to Gould for playing it from how he envisioned it

Too bad you don't tell us why.
If you think it's supposed to be played slower, you're wrong. The tempo is 60 - 70 (black), which is what he plays.

Glenn Gould, one of the greatest pianists and this...one of the greatest fails...unfortunately. Luckily the genius of Beethoven allowed that his pieces survive such a soulless interpretation.

レスポンスを見るとやはり、Gouldの速弾きに賛否あるようですね。
私の意見としては、テンポの速さと右手の強さに最初は戸惑いましたが、聴き込むとこれもまた好し。＾＾
そして、曲名の由来となった人物がGouldの演奏を最初に聴いていたら、はたしてどんな感想を漏らしただろうかと興味があります。おそらく違った曲名になっていたのでしょうね。
