This is a hilarious way to remove the annoying adhesive that is sometimes left by the removal of vinyl or linoleum tile using a pest control glue board.

  • just finished a 1500 sq foot room. Doing this way would have been EXPENSIVE, so I Google'd it and the best way to get stubborn adhesive off a floor like this is with boiling hot water. Pout water on glue, start to scrape after a few minutes. Just peels off real easy!!

1500SQ Foot of mouse traps would have been more that the replacement flooring :)

  • @bigboy300456s - Hey thanks for this! I think I tried that as well, but less patient!

  • @Jamsire in 15 minutes you couldve scraped that whole section

  • @impleasen - Some of "US" need their hands in the best possible condition for their livelihood. Being a professional guitarist, I'd rather not use my hands for that kind of work - besides, it worked and the title (which no one reads) says HILARIOUS, not the "best" or "perfect."

  • The best ideas come from the dumbest

  • Well I found it helpful. Thanks this is a great idea for a small area but for a larger area it would be alot harder.

  • @markybear07 - I appreciate you posting this. BUT..................I wish you have filmed your method! Sounds like it was VERY successful!

  • @Jamsire You are right. I should have considered your feelings before bashing your technique. If it works for you thats great. I ended up purchasing a commercial adhesive remover and soaking the paper and adhesive after I scored it with a putty knife. Between that and a razor sharp scraper, I was able to shave most of the glue and residue off the slab.
