Actually I think is very hypocritical to make (lousy) videos in wich dogs have success at all times as if they are born invincible. This is the real deal: training and practice - which is exactly what this video shows. You talk as if "your" dogs have never failed. It's nonsense. Even the most deadly and experienced predators fail on a daily basis. If you want to talk about honesty tell the REAL story in 1st place

Ребята то что вы занимаетесь поддержанием качеств породы это хорошо, но до вашего видео я думал что мой хортый бегает медленно, и плохо ловит, но теперь я понял что он ещё был бы среди ваших собак в лидерах, без обид но просто я его тренирую 4дня в неделю, наверное по этой причине, но это только из за того что у меня есть свободное время, ещё хотелось бы чтобы люди по больше выкладывали видео, чтобы можно было сравнить. Да и чтоб продолжали традиции, потому что зрелищней охоты нету!

beautiful dogs. I have a borzoi myself and i have a rabbit - no harm for everyone :) It seems to be a hard deal to go on if it is more funny to shoot a rabbit or let the dog get it by once.

Меня искренне удивили негативные комментарии. Отличное видео. Собаки просто прекрасны! Охота в крови у Русской Борзой. Лично мне, конечно, жаль зайцев. Да и лично мне хотелось бы посадить такую красивую собаку с собой на диван и любоваться. Но это было бы не правильно наверно. Хорошо, что есть люди, которые применяют этих великолепных собак по их прямому назначению. Сохранение традиций очень важно! Те кто сравнивает эту породу с другими, видимо не понимает всей сути этой породы.

Fast dogs but not impressive. Those borzoi are really struggling to catch that hare.

Could you image those borzois chasing an antelope jack rabbit? They'd give up the chase themselves.

these guys are sticking to a tradition and should be admired at keeping to there breed and roots of there dogs, its not all about the end product of catching the hare

we need people like these to keep true hunting lines going and they shouldnt feel pressured to change because someone dosent agree with there method or tools of trade

i wouldnt have a pure saluki , but i need that breed to put stamina in the dogs i use

i couldnt eat flour on its own, but add a few other ingredients it changes

Borzoi are bred more for big game but hunting hare is still a legitimate use of the breed. Over here in the US they are often coursed on coyote. My boy kills squirrels, rabbits, coyotes, raccoons, anything that comes into the fence. His size hasn't hindered him any.
