to compare this to the original is like comparing frosted flakes to corn flakes. i mean U2 sang the song powerful and 'in battle' like 'you bastards should be ashamed' sound. Colins version is more of a reminiscence kind of 'in memory / rest in peice', not a mockery. i like both and respect both.

This song.. literally made me tear, the instruments to it and everything was so simply stunning and beautiful. In a way it leads to a heart break and thoughts about history of hurt, suffering, sorrow, and reminiscence in the world. This song should be cherished in a way..not hated. This song makes my heart come out, i spiritually bleed for this song.
